Buddleja d. 'Black knight'

Category: Deciduous — Butterfly bush

Bloom dark purple-violet with orange eye. Darkest cultivar. July-August, late summer to fall. Strong growing shrub growing to a height of 2.5 to 3 m. Freezes quite easily, so cover the base in winter and prune back to a few eyes above the ground. Prefers a sunny position, fears soils that are too wet.
