Campanula persicifolia

Category: Perennials — Peach-leaved Bellflower, Peach-flowered Bellflower

A perennial plant with an upright growth habit that can reach a height of 60 to 90 cm. The leaves are narrow and resemble those of a peach tree, hence the name "Peach-leaf Bellflower." Long, stiff green stems produce blue-purple, bell-shaped flowers from June to August, attracting bees and butterflies. Campanula persicifolia thrives in partial shade to sunny locations in well-drained, humus-rich soil. It is suitable for borders, flower gardens, and as a cut flower. This plant is very winter-hardy and relatively disease-resistant.
