Tilia henryana

Tilia henryana is native to China, where it grows into a large tree that can reach 25 m in height. In our climate it reaches a maximum height of 15 m, after 10 years about 5 m. Decorative, heart-shaped leaves, emerge pink to bronze, after which it changes to dark green. In autumn the leaves turn golden yellow. The most striking feature of the leaf are the pointed teeth on the leaf margin, so fine that they resemble eyelashes.
